Veteran politician and presidential candidate aspirant of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Joe Ghartey, is billed to deliver the keynote address at the handing over ceremony of the University of Ghana City Campus Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON).
The handing over ceremony is focusing on how to help the NPP maintain power in 2024.
Hon. Ghartey, who is a former Attorney General and Minister of Justice as well as former Minister of Railways Development is expected to deliver his keynote address under the theme: “Building A Formidable Force To Break The 8.”
The Member of Parliament for Essikado Ketan Constituency in the Western Region, Hon. Ghartey, is one of the three leading candidates for NPP’s 2024 Presidential candidate job.
The handing over ceremony is slated for September 10, 2021 at the GNAT Hall in Accra.
TESCON which was founded on January 8, 2000 is the student wing of the ruling NPP.
