Mr. Frank Yeboah, an aspiring parliamentary candidate for the NPP in the Atwima Nwabiagya North constituency, has successfully built a well-equipped pavilion for the Asuofua Government Hospital.
Valued at no less than GHs 50,000, the facility was entirely funded from Mr. Yeboah’s personal funds, serving as a testament to his eagerness and capability to improve the conditions of both institutions and individuals within the constituency.
The official commissioning took place on Saturday, December 16, 2023, with the gracious presence and support of Asuofua’s Queen, Nana Baanieh Ahenkan, the Presiding Member for the Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly, Hon. Ohemeng Prempeh, and the Assemblyman for the Asuofua electoral area, among others.
In an interview with the press, Mr. Frank Yeboah, a philanthropist and politician gaining widespread electoral support, emphasized that the construction of the pavilion was a swift response to a request made by the hospital authorities.
Before Mr. Yeboah’s intervention, Asuofua Government Hospital lacked a shelter for waiting mothers, who had to endure sitting in the open for extended periods, exposed to the elements. The philanthropist cum politician pointed out that nation-building is a collective effort, emphasizing the need for both individuals and institutions to contribute to the development agenda of the country.
On the same day, Mr. Frank Yeboah also commissioned a renovated mechanized borehole in the Esaso community of the district. Recognizing the neglect of the borehole for over two years, he expressed his sensitivity to the welfare of humanity and deemed it necessary to address the situation promptly.
