Akua Serwaa, the sole daughter of Kweku Kyei-Baffuor, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Bekwai, has tragically passed away.
The 30-year-old was discovered lifeless in her marital residence in Bebu, located within the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region on Thursday, August 3rd.
Isaac Owusu, the husband of the deceased, reported finding his wife deceased upon returning home, with their doors left ajar. He also revealed that valuable items, including a flat-screen television, had been stolen from their residence around 5:00 pm.
Law enforcement authorities have initiated an inquiry into the incident.
At this point, it remains uncertain whether Akua Serwaa’s demise resulted from foul play or natural causes.
The deceased’s remains have been transported to the morgue at Bekwai Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
